Work remotely for client in Emeryville, California
- As part of the Web Development team, used JSP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to develop and maintain kodakgallery.com, an online digital photography service.
- Developed the interface layer of the desktop application EasyShare, and Windows XP's Online Print Wizard. Built the front end of the ActiveX application "Print@Home".
- Conducted code reviews to ensure code compliance with web standards and with internal coding guidelines.
- Localized web applications to enable their delivery to ten countries in seven languages.

- Worked as an independent consultant building websites and web applications for various clients.
- As part of a team of engineers from Organic, Inc., built the website presentation layer for a major new mobile phone company launching services in the US. Integrated designs, production art, and editorial assets with code from the BEA WebLogic application server and Webflow. Helped build website rendering tools in XSL that transformed XML content into web-ready formats including HTML, JSP, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Worked with www.verio.com web marketing team to implement content updates and revisions.

- Worked with a team of engineers to develop and maintain large corporate commercial websites, including macys.com and wamuhomeloans.com.
- Integrated HTML user interfaces with Java application servers, including WebSphere, ATG Dynamo and BEA Weblogic.
- Worked cooperatively with creative teams to translate visual designs, user experience flows, and written content into functional interfaces for client projects.
- Developed rendering and publishing tools and processes to aid in the production of large sites. Used XSLT extensively to transform XML content into XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSP.
- Built significant portions of the macys.com shopping cart and product catalog sections. Used JSP to implement complex design and display logic and to integrate the interface layer with the WebSphere application server.
- As part of the on-site training and transition team for macys.com, trained client engineers in the use of XML and XSLT. Prepared written documentation and training materials, and gave verbal presentations.
- Acted as Lead Interface Engineer during maintenance phase of wamuhomeloans.com. Scoped and performed content and user interface updates and enhancements. Improved the site's accessibility compliance and cross-browser compatibility.
- Built Organic San Francisco's first multi-language content pages in Spanish, Japanese, and Arabic for an international medical air transport company.

- As part of a team of engineers, built ecommerce websites including blockbuster.com, homedepot.com, and wamumortgage.com.
- Used client side tools and technologies such as XML, HTML, Frontier, and Perl to integrate content created by Design and Editorial with Java based server side applications such as ATG Dynamo and WebLogic.
- Lead the creation of the interface layer for wamumortgage.com. Wrote translation rules in Frontier's UserTalk to transform XML content into HTML. Ensured proper cross-browser design integrity.
- Acted as maintenance engineer for www.blockbuster.com. Handled weekly content updates, issue tracking, and version control for client side code and image assets. Worked as part of engineering team to deploy and QA weekly builds.
- As part of work on the Hewlett Packard Customer Destination Site, wrote publishing tools in Perl to render approximately 200 HTML pages from text and HTML assets.

- Coordinated all aspects of Family Harvest, a community food and education program serving approximately 500 individuals at 4 sites in San Mateo County.
- Identified underserved areas in San Mateo County and established new Family Harvest distribution sites. Evaluated community resources, recruited community based organizations to become Family Harvest partners, and built coalitions between multiple agencies to strengthen and diversify the program.
